As a Sophomore: Named honorable mention all-SLC after ranking 18th in scoring (12.1), tied for 18th in rebounding (5.1) and 19th in free throw percentage (.734).... posted 21 double figure games... became the 21st player in school history to score 30 points in a game with 30 in 85-64 win over Texas-San Antonio on Jan. 10, 2004... posted fourth career double-double with 23 points, 10 rebounds at Texas-Pan American on Nov. 29, 2003... led team in scoring eight times during season... Made 16 of 17 free throws in win over UTSA... 138 made free throws is fourth on all-time single-season list... accepted sixth man role after starting 19 of the first 20 games of the season... averaged 16.0 points per game first 12 games of season and 7.7 per game last 10 games of season... started eight games during the 2002-03 Southland Conference season in place of preseason all-SLC forward Derrick Obasohan.

High School: Averaged 18.2 points and 9.0 rebounds in 2001-02 for Fort Worth Dunbar High School... named first-team all-state by the Texas High School Coaches Association and was named to the 2002 all-tournament team at the UIL State Tournament... averaged 19.0 points and 10.5 rebounds at the 2002 state basketball tournament... rated as the 26th best player in Texas by Mike Kundstadt[apos]s Texas Basketball Review ... named the Fort Worth Star-Telegram[apos]s public school Player of the Year as a senior in 2001-02... named to the all-area squad of the Dallas Morning News and earned District 7-4A 'MVP' honors as a senior after averaging 19 points and 10 rebounds per game in league play... was the District 7-4A 'Newcomer of the Year' as a sophomore, averaging 16.7 points and 11 rebounds per game... a member of the All-Debate Team at Dunbar.
