Parker Eidson completed his fourth season in 2022-23 as UT Arlington's Director of Operations after spending the 2018-19 season as an operations graduate assistant.
In his role, Eidson oversaw all logistical aspects of the program’s day-to-day operations, including budget, travel, meals, camps and equipment. Additionally, Eidson assisted with game scheduling and also served as the liaison between the team and the athletic department administration.
Eidson, 28 at the conclusion of the 2022-23 season, previously served as a basketball operations graduate assistant under head coach Chris Beard at Texas Tech during the 2017-18 season. He coordinated operations for the Red Raider team that advanced to the NCAA Regional Finals. Eidson worked with day-to-day program scheduling, coordinated team travel, served as a liaison between the basketball program and the athletics administration and oversaw the procurement and distribution of team equipment.
Prior to his time at Tech, the Nashville, Tenn., native served four seasons as a student assistant at the University of Tennessee. While at Tennessee, he worked under three head coaches: current Missouri head coach Cuonzo Martin, current Chipola College Donnie Tyndall and current coach of the Vols, Rick Barnes. He was also a part of the program’s charge to the 2014 Sweet Sixteen.
While with the Volunteers, he assisted coaches and staff with recruiting, summer camps, team travel, supervision of the team managers, along with the skill development of numerous professional players, including: Dallas Mavericks guard Josh Richardson, Boston Celtics forward Grant Williams, Admiral Schofield, Jarnell Stokes, Jordan McRae and Kevin Punter.
Eidson earned his Masters in Public Administration from UTA in 2020. He received a bachelor’s of science degree in sport management with a minor in business from the University of Tennessee in 2016.
