High School: Goodman was a four-star forward that was a top-100 recruit nationally and was Penn State's second-highest ranked recruit in program history, per 247 Sports. He was ranked as the No. 76 recruit nationally per Rivals and the No. 84 recruit in the country per 247 Sports. He also played for the highly-ranked Southern California Academy and was a 2023 Pangos All-American Camp participant. Goodman averaged 12.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 3.0 blocks and 2.0 steals per game throughout the first three years of his high school and AAU careers.
