Sean Kostecki joined the UTA men's basketball program as a graduate assistant in the summer of 2023. Born in San Antonio, Texas, Kostecki attended high school at Fort Mill High School in South Carolina before graduating from DePaul University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Management and a concentration in Sports Management
 
Prior to UTA, Kostecki was a four-year student manager (2019-23) at DePaul under coach Tony Stubblefield. In his final two seasons with the Blue Demons, he was the head manager supervising a staff of eight managers. During that time, Kostecki gained valuable experience in basketball operations and player development. 
 
While in Chicago, Kostecki spent the three years assisting in basketball operations at both the NBA Draft Combine and G League Elite Camp. He has also worked as a coach at several basketball camps, including a three-time coach at the Midwest Region’s MADE Hoops Basketball Camp (2021-23) which hosts the nation’s top middle-school recruits.
 
Kostecki is currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration at UTA.
