High School As a senior was first in the state in the 4x400 (3:16.09) and 3rd at Junior Olympics in long jump at 23[apos]6'...as a junior was 5th at state high school meet in long jump of 22[apos]7'1/2 and placed first at the Junior Olympics in same event at 24[apos]9'1/4...finished 9th in the state in long jump as a sophomore...team MVP as a junior and senior...selected Illinois Athlete of the Year and Lake County Athlete of the Year as a senior...also lettered in basketball and golf...basketball team played for state title in 2007-08.

Born May 11, 1990...parents are Vernon and Kimberly George...has two brothers...his father was an All-American long jumper at Texas Southern while his mother was an All-American in the same event at Drake...undecided major.
