Bailey Balmer serves as a graduate assistant for the Mavericks after previously competing on the UTA track and cross country teams from 2016-19. Balmer, a distance specialist, and her father Jimmy are the first student-athlete parent-child duo ever to be coached by John Sauerhage. As an undergraduate, she was a member of the UTA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Balmer is a native of Yardley, Penn.
