2020-21 SEASON
2021 Indoor: Did not compete.
2021 Outdoor: Competed at the NCAA Division I West Preliminary meet in the 3000 meter steeplechase, finishing with a time of 9:01.78 … named to the Sun Belt Second team … placed second at the Sun Belt Championship meet … set the second-best time in program history at the Drake Relays by clocking in at 8:52.07 … placed third at the SBC meet while setting the third-fastest time in school history in the 10,000 meters ahead of teammate Cole Klashinsky who finished fourth in the race and in the UTA record book … named SBC Track Athlete of the Week for two consecutive weeks in April … placed third at the SBC meet in the 5000 meters race … won 1500 meters races at the TCU Invitational and UT Arlington Invitational, setting a personal-best time of 3:51.97 at the TCU meet.
2019-20 SEASON
2020 Indoor: Named the Sun Belt Conference Men's Most Outstanding Track Performer at the league's indoor meet ... earned High Point Scorer honors with 26 points ... won a conference title in the 3000 meters (8:23.79)Â ... had runner-up showings in both the mile and the 5000 meters ... recorded the fifth-fastest 5000m time in school history at the Iowa State Classic (14:36.53).
2020 Outdoor:Â Season canceled due to coronavirus pandemic.
2018-19 SEASON
2019 Indoor: Was among the top three in all three individual events he competed in at the league's indoor meet ... was the conference runner up in both the 3000m and 5000m and was third in the mile.
2019 Outdoor: Finished on the podium in three events at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championships ... took second in the 3000m steeplechase (8:57.39) and was third in both the 5000 meters (14:39.82) and 10,000 meters (29:42.00) ... advanced to the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the 3000m steeplechase, where he finished 26th (8:58.07) ... ran a 14:06.96 in the 5000m at the Mt. SAC Relays, the second-fastest time in school history ... was third in the steeple at the Texas Relays (8:58.62).Â
2017-18 SEASON
2018 Indoor:Â Finished among the top 5 in three events at the 2018 SBC indoor meet, including a second-place showing in the 3000 meters (8:21.99) ... took fifth in the mile and 5000 meters.
2018 Outdoor: Was named the Most Outstanding Men's Track Athlete at the 2018 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships ... won the 3000m steeplechase (9:14.15) and 10,000 meters (31:32.60) and finished second in the 5000m (14:55.40) ... was the meet's High Point Scorer with 28 points ... his outdoor 5000m time of 14:15.06 posted at the Mt. SAC Relays was the second-fastest in school history.
2016-17 SEASON
2017 Indoor:Â Scored a point for the team champs at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships, placing eighth in the 5000 meters (15:05.38).
2017 Outdoor:Â Â Aided the Mavs in completing the triple crown, grabbing third place in a pair of events at the league's outdoor meet ... took the bronze in the 5000m (14:46.61) and 10,000m (30:56.98) ... claimed third-team all-conference accolades for the outdoor season.
BEFORE UTA
Was a two-time runner up at the UIL 4A State Cross Country Championships ... was a four-time state participant ... won the 2015 4A Region I Championships with a 5k time of 15:16.1 ... finished third at the regional meet as a junior ... won three silver medals at state in track to go along with three bronze medals ... posted a personal-best 5k time of 15:09 ... also ran a 4:20 in the 1600m and a 9:24 in the 3200m.
