DALLAS, Texas - SMU cruised past Texas-Arilngton 6-1 Thursday afternoon in women's tennis action at the Haggar Tennis Complex in Dallas. The loss drops the Lady Mavericks to 11-6 overall.

Freshman Pavla Mesterova, ranked 113th in the latest polls, pushed her sinlges record to 14-0 with a default win at the top singles flight.

SMU swept doubles action to score first, and claimed five singles flights to secure the win.
