Opening Statements...
"We have to give credit to NC State, they played an outstanding game and were probably one of the better teams we played this season. We did start off great on the mound and had to relieve our starting pitcher early. We have to give credit to the leadoff score for the bunt that would bring in the game-winning run. I thought we did a great job offensively. We had some timely hits which got us right back in the game. Unfortunately we coudln't get a hit late in the with the bases loaded, but that's baseball. We're very happy with our club and excited about next year."

On not scoring with the bases loaded...
"I think NC State had some opportunities to score, and so did we. Both teams left a lot of runners on base, especially late in the games. You have to step up with guys in scoring position to win."

FRESHMAN OF Collin Garner
On his three-run double...
"Yesterday, I faced the same situation in my first at bat with the bases loaded. I tried to fight off the pitch, but the catcher made a good catch. Today, I faced the same situation, but there were no nerves. I just saw the pitch and found a good one to hit, and did my best to help the team. "
