FORT WORTH, Texas - UT Arlington women's tennis team lost its first match of the season, 5-2, at No. 16 TCU. The Mavs move to 3-1 overall on the season and 1-0 in Southland Conference action.

Sophomore Sara Pesic scored the firs point for the Mavs in the No. 6 slot defeating Gabby Pesic 6-1 6-1. Senior Daniela Novakova added point number two with a 7-5 1-6 11-9 come from behind win in the No. 2 slot.

The Mavs will return to action on Monday, March 5 at 10 a.m. when they play host to McNeese State for thier second SLC match of the season.
