The UT Arlington men's and women's basketball teams took part in the universities 30th anniversary of bed races held at Maverick Stadium Thursday evening.
More than 800 students and staff were in attendance and took part in the night's fun activities.
The men's and women's teams handed out pillow cases that featured their schedules, signed autographs and took pictures with fans.
Bed Races is one of the oldest traditions on campus and in celebration of the 30the anniversary the theme will be "Bed Races Remixxx". The theme will feature what was popular around the year 1980 (the year Bed Races began) including a 80's costume contest, animated photo booklets and more.
