Men's Tennis Set for Rice Fall Invite

Arlington, Texas - Fall tennis continues this weekend for the men's team as they head to Houston for the 2010 Rice Fall Invitational, Friday, October 1.

The Mavericks are coming off a weekend at the HEB Baylor Invitational where Mindaugas Celedinas and Lucas Leppin advanced to the doubles semifinals. The duo suffered an 8-5 loss to TCU's Soren Goritzka and Cameron Nash.

The field of competitors includes host Rice, Texas, LSU and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.

Celedinas, Leppin, Yauheni Yakauleu, Nicolas Moreno, Erik Hjertonsson, Brieuc Hamon, Giacomo Sano, and David Subirats will represent UT Arlington in the three day tournament.

Tournament action begins Friday at the Jake Hess Tennis Stadium in Houston.
