SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The UT Arlington women's tennis team defeated UTSA 4-1 on Saturday.

This marks the fourth Western Athletic Conference victory for the Mavs this season, as they improve to 5-10 overall and 4-2 in league play.

The Mavericks won the doubles points after winning at the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to head into singles with the advantage.

Brooke Dennis, Elizabeth Thoms and Verena Scott each won their singles competitions, giving the Mavericks the overall victory.
