"Texas State was unquestionably the tougher team tonight. They dribble-drove us throughout the game. Our guys weren't locked-in and didn't do the fundamental things defensively we had been doing all season. Offensively we several careless turnovers. We looked like we hadn't been in tough situations. That isn't the case. We have, but we didn't respond when we were put under pressure. To some degree, we have seen a game like this coming. Hopefully, our guys will learn a lesson from this. We will watch film, see what we need to do to improve and get better. We definitely have to be better defensively.

"Credit to Texas State. As they should, they hit open shots and they made a few tough ones. We definitely give them credit. The main thing I give them credit for is being tougher than us defensively and making it difficult for us to get anything going."
