2017 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships

• UTA's Christian Schiemann is UTA's first conference champion in the decathlon since former All-American Romain Martin won the Western Athletic Conference event in 2013.
• UTA's Alexus Henry placed third in the heptathlon with 5,199 points. It was a personal-best and the No. 3 total in school history.
