Earned first-team All-America honors after placing fifth in the heptathlon at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
Totaled a school-record 5,880 points in the heptathlon at the NCAA Championships.
Had his best NCAA showing in the pole vault, placing fourth among the multi-event athletes with a mark of 5.00 meters.
Won the crown in the Southland Conference Championships for the second consecutive season with 5,552 points.
Named the SLC Indoor Athlete of the Year following a stellar campaign that also included third-place finishes in the 60-meter hurdles and the pole vault.
Won five of the seven events and had one runner-up placements in the league[apos]s heptathlon competition.

First-team All-America honoree in the heptathlon after placing third at the 2011 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Established a new school record at the NCAAs with 5,897 points in the heptathlon.
His third-place finish was the best national finish by a Maverick since the 1998 campaign.
Was the first-ever Mavericks athlete to reach the NCAA Championships in a multiple-event competition.
Named Southland Conference Athlete of the Year.
Was the conference champion in the pentathlon with a score of 5,728 at the Southland Conference Indoor Championships.
Placed either first or second in all seven events at the league meet.
Grabbed third place in the heptathlon with a score of 5,647 at the Iowa State Classic.
Placed second in the pole vault at the Oklahoma Sooner Open I, clearing 4.69 meters.
Also came in second in the long jump with a leap of 6.69 meters at the Varsity Apartments Shocker Quad.

Earned first-team All-America plaudits after finishing second in the decathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
His runner-up showing at the NCAAs was the best individual finish by a UTA athlete since 1991, when McClinton Neal was the national champion in the 400-meter hurdles.
Totaled 7,956 points at the meet, the second highest total of his career.
Had a personal-best total of 7,977 points at the Texas Relays to place second.
Repeated as conference champion in the decathlon by scoring 7,426 points.
Won eight of the 10 events at the league meet to win the competition by nearly 500 points.
Named Southland Conference Athlete of the Week on April 4.
Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminaries in the javelin.

Named a second-team All-American in the decathlon after finishing 11th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Totaled 7,727 points in the 10 events, with his best finish being fourth place in the javelin (58.96m).
Placed first decathlon at the SLC OUtdoor Championships with a score of 7,556.
Won five of the 10 events in the league[apos]s decathlon (100m, long jump, 400m, discus and javelin).
Took third in both the high jump (1.96m) and the pole vault (4.75m) at the North Texas Spring Classic.
Placed third in the javelin at the Bobby Lane Invitational with a throw of 61.21 meters.
Was runner up in the decathlon at the Texas Relays with a season-best mark of 7,867 points.
Won the high jump portion of the decathlon (2.05m) at the Texas Relays.
PRIOR TO UT ARLINGTON
Finished second in a U23 international decathlon competition, earning 7,294 points against athletes from Spain, France, England, Italy and Switzerland in 2010.
Earned a personal-best 5,439 points in an international heptathlon competition.
