• Arkansas State topped UTA 85-80 on Saturday evening in Jonesboro, Ark.

• Rebekah VanDijk became the first player in program history to record 1,000 points and rebounds on a milestone performance. The senior had a career-high 18 rebounds to go with a season-high 31 points. VanDijk has 1,451 points in her career, just one shy of tying for fifth in UTA history. She is second in the program ranks with 1,010 rebounds, good for 10th in the Sun Belt.
• Shelby Richards had her seventh double-digit scoring effort with 12 points. Saturday was her first game without a 3-pointer this season.
• Laurynn McGowen finished with 10 points.
• UTA is 1-9 when trailing going into the final 10 minutes, while it is 7-0 when leading.
• Arkansas State leads the all-time series 15-6 and are 7-2 against UTA at home. The Lady Mavs have not won in Jonesboro since 1988. UTA ended a 10-game losing streak to ASU last season at home.
• UTA has not defeated ASU in back-to-back games since 1988.
