  • UT Arlington opened 2018 with a 76-57 win over defending Sun Belt champion Troy. UTA improved to 8-6 overall and 2-1 in league play, while the Trojans went to 7-7 and 2-1.
  • Troy leads the all-time series 8-3, while UTA is 3-2 in Arlington.
  • UTA is 17-4 at College Park Center over the last two seasons and 6-1 in 2017-18.
