ARLINGTON, Texas – UTA racked up 13 event titles at the 39th Annual Bobby Lane Invitational, including five individual victories by Maverick seniors. Despite the predicted threat of stormy weather, the meet went off without any delays, although it was blustery throughout much of the afternoon at UTA's Maverick Stadium.
Seven individual titles came on the women's side, while the men accounted for four. Both relay teams also picked up wins in the 4x100 meters.
Madeleine Rowe led the way for the Mavericks, as she was one of just two multi-event winners at the meet. She pulled off a double with a win in the 800 meters (2:17.16) after previously crossing first in the 1500m (4:38.76).
In the sprints, a pair of newcomers came out with first-place finishes.

Brenden Wallace was victorious in the 400 meters with an equally-impressive March clocking of 47.50.
The other men's wins also came courtesy of members of the decorated senior class.
Isaiah McBride was the winner in the long jump with a best effort of 23-3 ½ (7.10m), while
Victor Fincher cruised to first place in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.52.
The men's and women's teams swept the 4x100m races. For the women, Crawford,
