Box Score CONWAY, S.C. – The UT Arlington women's tennis team finished their regular season on Sunday, defeating the Coastal Carolina Chants 4-2 at the Stevens Tennis Center in Conway, South Carolina.
 
Almudena Boza and Lucia Natal got the wins going for the Mavs, taking court three in doubles action 6-1.  Coastal Carolina fought back, however, winning on courts one and two to take the doubles point and take an early one-point lead in the match.
 
The Chants picked up another win to begin singles play, as Somer Dalla-Bona defeated Nanaka Takeuchi 6-3, 6-4 on court three. That would be the last win for the Chants, as the Mavs took control of the match with four straight wins.  Momoka Horiguchi ran through court one, winning 6-0, 6-3. Carla Vives tied the match with a 6-1, 6-4 victory on court six.  In the No. 4 competition, Almudena Boza defeated Jessie Mount in a hard-fought 7-6, 7-6 win before Liz Chileno wrapped up the match with a 6-3, 6-3 win on court four.

The Mavericks will await their tournament seeding for the Sun Belt Tournament that will take place in Peachtree City, Georgia from April 18-20. Seedings will be released Sunday at 8:30 p.m.
