ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington women's tennis team will get their season underway on Saturday (Jan. 15) when they host Cameron and Central Oklahoma for a double header at the UTA Tennis Center.  The match against Cameron is set to begin at 10 am and the match against Central Oklahoma will follow.
 
UTA NOTES
• The Mavericks open the season playing their first five matches in the friendly confines of the UTA Tennis Center before embarking on a six match road stretch.
• The Mavericks are 1-2 against Cameron.  They lost twice in 1991, but swept the Aggies a season ago. UTA is 2-1 all-time against Central Oklahoma.
• Momoka Horiguchi will look to improve upon her already successful season after going 8-4 in the fall during tournament action. The junior needs just four wins to match her win total from a season ago. 
 
ON DECK
UTA will stay in Arlington for a second weekend next week when they host Rice at 11 am on Feb. 1the UTA Tennis Center.
