ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington women's tennis team will host UTSA at the UTA Tennis Center at 11 am on Saturday (Feb. 8) to wrap up their home stretch to start the season. This will be the last chance for fans to watch the Mavs in action until March 14.
UTA NOTES
•Â
Momoka Horiguchi leads the Mavericks in singles action with a 10-5 record, including fall play. She is 2-1 in dual matches, playing one match at No.1 and two at No. 2.

Polina Akimova is 3-0 in dual matches, including a 2-0 mark since taking over the No. 1 spot from Horiguchi two matches ago.
• The Mavs are 4-6 in doubles play during dual matches.Â

Nanaka Takeuchi have a 2-2 mark in the No. 1 spot
SCOUTING UTSA
The Roadrunners are 1-1 on the season, coming off a win against Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Jasmin Starr is 2-0 for UTSA on Court One, but not other Roadrunner is above .500 on the season in singles play.

ON DECK
The Mavs will have two weeks off until their next match when they travel to Wichita, Kansas to take on the Shockers of Wichita State on Feb. 22.
