INSIDE THE LINEUP

- Garber is coming off her first under-par round of the year at New Mexico State's Aggie Invitational last week. The graduate student's final-round 71 marked her name in the record book as she is now tied for the 10th-best low round in program history. She led the Mavericks with a T-43 finish across the 104-player field.

- Murray is one of three Mavs who have competed in every tournament this season. Her season-best finish to this point is a T-17 a couple of weeks ago at the Bearkat Invitational. Murray holds a team-best 74.56 scoring average yet this year across nine rounds.

- Hlynsdottir, along with Murray, also recorded her best finish (T-11) and three-round 220 (+7) total – which placed her with the 7th-best low 54-hole total in UTA history – at the Bearkat Invitational earlier this fall. So far this season, the junior has been the lone Mav with a top-15 individual finish to her name.

- Gonzalez enters the Lady Red Wolves Classic with a 78.11 average score this year across nine rounds. Her best round so far this year came from the season-opening USA Intercollegiate (76), and she also matched that in last week's Aggie Invitational.

- Adams will be making her first appearance in the team lineup this season after competing in four tournaments last year, averaging an even 80 across 11 rounds. The senior tabbed the best finish of her career (T-15) back in 2019 at Lamar's Cardinal Challenge.

- Howard currently sits with an 81.17 average over two tournaments and six rounds this year. The senior looks to improve after posting her best round this year (76) last week in New Mexico.

LAST TIME AT LADY RED WOLVES CLASSIC
This will mark just the second time UTA has competed in the Lady Red Wolves Classic, with the other coming in the fall of 2019 when the Mavs tied for 4th place. There, Murray was declared co-runner up and set the program record with a bogey-free 6-under 66 in the final round. As a team, UTA shattered its own team record with a 3-under 285 total in that final round. Howard and Garber were the only two members of the Mavs who competed in the Lady Red Wolves Classic two years ago.

NEXT UP
The Mavericks will wrap up their fall season in Hot Springs Village, Ark., at Little Rock's Women's Golf Classic Oct. 24-26 from Diamante Country Club.
