LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The UT Arlington women's golf team prepares for New Mexico State's three-day Aggie Invitational this Monday through Wednesday, Oct. 4-6, from New Mexico State Golf Course.

INSIDE THE LINEUP

Hlynsdottir is coming off an 11th-place finish at Sam Houston's Bearkat Invitational last week – UTA's first individual top-15 finish this season so far. The junior's three-round 220 (+7) total marked her name in the record book as she is now tied for the 7th-best low 54-hole total.
Murray, along with Hlynsdottir, were the only two Mavericks to post a top-20 finish at the Bearkat Invite as the graduate student tied for 17th. Murray holds a team-best 73.50 scoring average so far this year across six rounds.
Garber heads into her second tournament this season after making her first appearance in the team lineup last week at the Bearkat Invite. The graduate student finished with the team's third-best three-round 233 total.
Gonzalez is one of three Mavs who have competed in every tournament so far this season. The senior looks to improve after posting her best round (76) back in the season-opening USA Intercollegiate.
Howard enters the Aggie Invitational with an 81.67 average score this year across just three rounds.

LAST TIME IN NEW MEXICO
This will mark just the second time UTA has competed in the Aggie Invitational, with the other coming in the fall of 2019. There, Murray led the Mavs with a tie for 19th in the field at +10 (226). Only two players in the field of 100 finished under par for the tournament. Howard and Garber were the only other two members of the Mavs who competed in the Aggie Invite two years ago.

NEXT UP
The Mavericks will compete in Arkansas State's Lady Red Wolves Classic Oct. 11-12 before playing in the Little Rock Women's Golf Classic Oct. 24-26 to conclude the fall season.
