ARLINGTON– The UT Arlington baseball team held its 30^th Annual Alumni Golf outing on Friday afternoon at the Texas Rangers Golf Club.
 
"It's such a great opportunity to get everyone together every year and we've revved it up since coming to the Texas Rangers Golf Club," said head coach Darin Thomas.
 
A wet day couldn't prevent alumni and other participants from displaying their unwavering support for the program. Over 50 former players and 95 total supporters showed up to participate in the event as over $15,000 was raised to help support the baseball program.
 
"This outing is very meaningful to the guys," said Alumni Club President Jeff Burrow (1988-91) "Team sports and being apart of something bigger than yourself is something that can never be replicated. This is event is something we all look forward to every year."
 
The winning team included John Marek, Paul Paramo, William Rose, and Tony Vilaros.
