LINEUP INFORMATION
- Miya is coming off a solid showing at Fresno State with rounds of 72-70-72: 214 (+1) as the New Zealand native will look to continue his strong play at his debut on the difficult links-style course.
- Hicks will also attempt to continue his strong start to the season after posting a team-best 1-under 212 (69-70-73) at the Nick Watney. Making his third-straight appearance at Trinity Forest, Hicks finished last year's event -3 for a T-10 showing.
- Menacho made noise earlier this week with a hole-in-one in his final round in California to fuel a team-best 69. This will also be the Peru native's first time competing at Trinity Forest, and also will mark the first time in the senior's career that he will be in the team lineup consecutive weeks.
- Cronje will be looking to bounce back from a tough start at Fresno in which he finished at +16, but didn't post any round higher than 77. The South African had a pair of top-10 finishes last year, including leading the Mavs in the conference tournament with a T-8 showing.
- Jones will be looking to do the same as Cronje as both of them qualified for Trinity Forest to get back in the team lineup. He started the year with a +17 outing in California, but all three rounds were in the 70s. In 11 rounds last year, Jones recorded a 73.09 scoring average.
The Mavs will remain in-state and make a trip out east to small-town Gladewater next week, Oct. 10-11, for the Tempest Intercollegiate hosted by LeTourneau University.
