INSIDE THE SCORES
Hlynsdottir
- Hlynsdottir began her round on the back side and sat at +4 through the first eight holes with a triple bogey – which came on hole 14 – that set her back. She was unable to gain any momentum after recording two doubles on 8 and 9 but would be able to complete the round with two birdies.
- Started her second round on hole 13 and played in 3-over through the first nine holes. A trio of big numbers on the front side set her back to play the last few holes in +6 with a birdie coming on hole 9.
Murray
- Opened on the back side and shot even through the first 11 holes with a birdie on hole 17. Two bogeys put Murray in 2-over before recording an unfortunate double to cap the round of 76.
- Murray began her second round on the 15th and played an impressive +1 over holes 15-3 with a birdie coming on 1. Unfortunately, six-consecutive bogeys set her back for the remainder of the round finishing 8-over.
Garber
- Garber uncharacteristically made eight bogeys in her first round which prevented her from gaining any momentum. However, she would be able to birdie hole 16.
- The senior shot even through the first three holes before a double and three bogeys set her back +5. Garber tallied ten pars but would be unable to roll a single birdie to complete to round of 80.
Tan
- Tan – who opened on the 17th hole – played the first 11 holes in +7 after a trio of doubles slowed down her momentum. She was able to roll her first birdie of the round – which came on hole 9 – but several big numbers following that were too much to bounce back from.
- Unfortunately, not much changed for Tan in her second round of the day as she shot 81. However, she was able to birdie three of the last six holes.
Gonzalez
- Gonzalez shot 78 in her first round of the day which featured six bogeys, a double and back-to-back birdies on 7 and 8.
- The senior began her second round on 16 and uncharacteristically recorded a pair of doubles (17, 18) and a pair of triples (5, 12) that were too much to recover from.
