SUGAR LAND, Texas - The UT Arlington women's golf team completed Houston Baptist's Husky Invitational Tuesday with a final-round 318 as the team finished 12th place out of 14 teams.

The Mavericks improved their team total by eight shots from a second-round 326 after posting a final-round 318. UTA's Madigan Murray led the Mavs throughout the tournament as the graduate student tied for 18th-place.

INSIDE THE SCORES
Murray

• Murray began her final round on the 11th hole as she played her first nine inn just 2+ before a double on 8 slowed her down. However, the graduate student was able to get her card back to down to +5 courtesy of a birdie on hole 9.

Hlyndsottir

• Hlynsdottir improved her numbers by three shots from Monday's second-round 79. The junior posted a final-round 76 – the best of the Mavs – as her card featured four bogeys, one double, two birdies and 11 pars.

Garber

• Garber started on back side – hole 12 – as she shot +4 through the first seven holes (12-18). With seven bogeys across the final eleven holes, Garber capped the round of 83.

Tan

• Tan's final-round 90 featured several big numbers that were too much to recover from. However, the senior would be able to card five pars throughout her round.

Howard

• Howard began her round on the 13th holes as the senior's card consisted of four bogeys, a double and a triple. Howard was one of two Mavs who were unable to roll a birdie, but she was able to record eleven pars.
