NATCHITOCHES, Louisiana – The UT Arlington softball team's midweek matchup at Northwestern State Wednesday night has been canceled due to wet field conditions from the recent storm in Natchitoches.  

The Mavericks were originally scheduled to face the Lady Demons at Lady Demon Diamond with the first pitch set for 6 p.m. The game will not be rescheduled at a later date.

UTA will resume play Friday, Mar. 23 in Lafayette as the Mavs will take on Louisiana for the three-game conference series through Sunday, Mar. 27. The first pitch Friday is set for 6 p.m. at Yvette Girouard Field at Lamson Park.
