ARLINGTON, Texas– The UT Arlington women's tennis team (3-1) will be back in the UTA Tennis Center on Friday to face Cameron at 2 p.m.
The Mavericks are ready to rebound from a 4-0 loss to Wichita State. They are still undefeated at home with a 3-0 record, not dropping a point against Dallas Baptist, Prairie View and Arkansas State.
Tara Gorinsek still leads the team in singles wins with a 3-1 record at the No. 3 spot.
Bruna Casasampere,
Liz Chileno, and
Francisca Vergara are close behind with two singles wins each.
Chileno and
Sarina Reinertsen have the strongest doubles record at 3-1. Gorinsek and
Ana Paula Jimenez hold a 2-1 record, followed by Casasampere and Vergara with a 1-0 record.
SCOUTING CAMERON
The Aggies hold a 2-0 record, facing UTA in their third match of the spring season. The Mavericks hold a 4-2 overall record over the Aggies after winning 6-1 in their last match in 2022.
