UTA struck early, plating five runs in the 1st inning, thanks in large part due to a

The Mavs would respond with two more runs in the 4th to make it 9-3. Northwestern would go on to score four runs in the bottom of the 5th to make it a 9-7 ball game. In the bottom of the 7th, Northwestern would pull within one run and that would be the closest they would get as the Mavs responded with two runs in the 8th and one run in the 9th to round out the scoring for the game.
With the win, UTA matches their longest win streak of the year at four games and have won every game they've played this week.
