- Cronje, the South Africa native, leads the Mavs in scoring average at 73.43, and he is also the only member of the team without a round in the 80s this year. Cronje has been a consistent catalyst for UTA as all of his rounds have been counted in the team score since the Nick Watney Invitational last November.
 - Hicks is the only Maverick to have played at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic previously as he posted a 4-under 214 (75-68-71) back in 2019, helping UTA to a 6th-place finish. The 5th year struggled in the 1st round of the ECU Intercollegiate last time out, but still led the Mavs along with Zak Jones (T-24). He carries a 73.96 scoring average into action this week.
 - Jones will be looking to string together three-straight quality rounds. The graduate student has produced career-best performances this year in terms of low round (67), appearances (eight), par-or-better rounds (seven) and finish (T-3). Jones has a scoring average of 74.22 this season, and that 67 is the best round by a Mav this season.
 - Miya has qualified for every tournament so far this season. Despite his three-worst tournament scores coming this spring, the New Zealand native still carries UTA's 2nd-best scoring average this year into Whirlwind (73.57). Miya also boasts a team-best nine par-or-better rounds this season.
 - Freshman Beck will now participate in his second-consecutive tournament and third overall. Beck actually led the Mavs in scoring through the 1st round last time out at the ECU Intercollegiate, but a rough 2nd round set him back. The Mansfield native will look to record his first tournament without carding a round in the 80s.
