ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington track and field teams return to action for the WAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships May 11-13. The meet begins Thursday, May 11 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a 9:30 a.m. start time on Friday, May 12 and concludes on Saturday, May 13 with a 10 a.m. start time.

The Mavericks will look for plenty of big-time performances throughout the three-day event as many athletes are scattered across the WAC performance list.
MAVS TO FOLLOW THIS WEEKEND
- Joel Bengtsson is ranked 1st in the WAC for the men's 110-meter hurdles with a time of 13.70. Bengtsson is currently ranked 15th in the West region.
- The women's 4x100 meter relay team consisting of Adeyemi Talabi, Mikeya Washington, Tatyana Terrell and Madison Pippins rank 1st in the WAC with a time of 44.32, which set a new school record. They are currently ranked 20th in the West region.
- Tatyana Terrell is currently ranked 2nd in the WAC in the women's 400-meter dash with a time of 53.34, which is a program record. She is currently ranked 47th in the West region. Terrell also is ranked 1st in the WAC in the women's 200-meter dash with a time of 23.12, which has her ranked 22nd in the West region.
- Josh Hoekendorf broke the school record earlier in the season in the men's hammer throw with a mark of 56.83-meters, which has him ranked 4th in the WAC.
- In the WAC, Madison Pippins sits in 3rd in the women's 100-meter dash with a time of 11.49 and 4th in the women's 200-meter dash with a time of 23.76.
- In the men's 800-meters, Jackson Cichon is ranked 1st in the WAC with a time 1:50.00.
- Brady Shadrick is ranked 1st in the WAC in the decathlon with 6720 points, which has him ranked 37th in the West region.
- In the women's 100-meter dash, Mikeya Washington is ranked 4th in the WAC with a time of 11.60.
- Lucas Van Klaveren is currently ranked 4th in the WAC in the men's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.54.
- In the men's 200-meter dash, Khalid Mendez is ranked 2nd in the WAC with a time of 20.83. This has him ranked 41st in the West region.
- Malaiya Jedkins ranks 3rd in the WAC in the women's triple jump with a mark of 12.75-meters. This has her ranked 42nd in the West region.
- In the women's 100-meter dash, Adeyemi Talabi ranks 5th in the WAC with a time of 11.63.
- The women's 4x400 meter relay team consisting of Zaire Moore, Shelby West, Glodis Thuridardittir and Tatyana Terrell are ranked 2nd in the WAC with a time of 3:41.75.
- The men's 4x400 meter relay team consisting of Adam Herrera, Levi Bontke, Khalid Mendez and Jarvis Miles are ranked 5th in the WAC with a time of 3:13.88.
- Simona Cabella currently sits in 5th in the WAC rankings in the women's pole vault with a mark of 3.85-meters.
- Luke Bontke is ranked 5th in the WAC in the decathlon with 6239 points.
- In the women's 400-meter hurdles, Shelby West sits in 3rd in the WAC rankings with a time of 59.99.
- Calen Jones is ranked 5th in the men's high jump in the WAC with a mark of 2.07-meters.
- In the men's triple jump, Marvin Walford is ranked 5th in the WAC with a mark of 14.91-meters.
- Zaire Moore is ranked 5th in the WAC in the women's 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.41.
