SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The UT Arlington track and field season came to an end on Saturday, May 27, at the NCAA Outdoor West Regionals.
The women's 4x100 relay team just missed qualifying for the championships in Austin, Texas, by a 0.12th of a second. The team consisting of
Adeyemi Talabi,
Mikeya Washington,
Tatyana Terrell and
Madison Pippins set the school record with a season's best time of 44.03.
This is the third time this season the team has broken the school record and twice broken the record that they set.
The top three times from each of the three heats along with the next fastest three times across all the heats all qualified. The Mavericks were in a tough heat three that saw five of the teams from that heat qualify, the most of any other heat.
