UT Arlington Track & Field signs Sydnee Collins

ARLINGTON, Texas UT Arlington Women's Track and Field has added transfer Sydnee Collins to its 2026-27 roster. Collins — a Keller native — is entering her sophomore year after spending her freshman season at Division II American International College.

As a freshman, Collins competed exclusively in sprint events, running in the 60-meter, 100-meter, 200-meter,  300-meter and 400-meter as well as the 4x100 and 4x400 relays.

The Keller native found success immediately, winning the Northeast-10 Conference's Indoor Track Rookie of the Year award. Collins was also named a USTFCCCA All-East Region selection for both the indoor and outdoor 200-meter.

Collins competed most often in the 200-meter, running it at 13 different events — eight indoor and five outdoor. Her personal best time came at the Riverhawk Invitational — an indoor event — where she registered a time of 24.83 seconds.

That time helped Collins rank second on the indoor 200-meter Northeast-10 Conference performance list. The Keller native also ranked in the top five in outdoor 200-meter and outdoor 100-meter on the Northeast-10 Conference performance.

Collins' personal best time in the outdoor 200m came at the 2026 Northeast-10 Outdoor Track & Field Championships where she ran a time of 24.85 seconds — nearly identical to her indoor personal best. That placed her fourth on the outdoor 200 meter performance list in the conference.

As she did in the 200-meter, Collins recorded her personal best time in the outdoor 100-meter at the conference championships. The then-freshman finished in 12.16 seconds, good for the fifth-best mark in the conference during the outdoor track season. Collins was the top-ranked freshman in the conference in both events.

Collins also ran track at Keller High School where she qualified for regionals twice. She graduated in 2025.
