ARLINGTON, Texas – Western Athletic Conference officials announced the 2026 Outdoor Track & Field postseason awards on Tuesday afternoon, with UT Arlington's
Eliza Lemberga earning WAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Co-Athlete of the Year honors.
The junior has been steady presence for the Mavericks this outdoor season, competing in the heptathlon, high jump and javelin.
Lemberga recorded eight top-three finishes across three events this season, including three first-place finishes – one of them being the WAC Outdoor Heptathlon title.
Earlier this season, Lemberga posted a personal best in the heptathlon of 5,493 points, moving her to No. 2 in program history in the women's outdoor heptathlon. At WAC Championships, she surpassed that mark with a new personal record of 5,558 points while maintaining her spot at No. 2 in program history.
The Krape, Latvia native earned WAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week honors once this season and was named WAC Women's Outdoor Track & Field Most Outstanding Field Performer at the end of conference championships. She is also ranked No. 37 in the country in the heptathlon after WAC Championships.
