Box Score DENTON, Texas – Sarina Reinertsen advanced to the championship of her singles flight before falling in a three-set heartbreaker to Louisiana Tech's Olga Bienzobas to highlight the UT Arlington women's tennis team's opening weekend at the Diving Eagle Invite hosted by the University of North Texas at the Waranch Tennis Complex.
 
Reinertsen defeated - in order - Cristine Tchanicheve of Louisiana Lafayette, Stanislava Shulzhenko of North Texas and Ksenia Mamontova of Stephen F. Austin before falling 6-4 in the third set to Bienzobas in the championship.
 
The trio of Francisca Vergara, Ana Paula Jimenez and Nika Novikova also produced one victory apiece in their singles flights.
 
In doubles, UTA's three teams all advanced with wins in their first matches before they each fell in the quarterfinals.
 
The Mavs will be back in action beginning Sept. 28 in the Houston Invitational hosted by the University of Houston.
