TULSA, Okla. --- The UT Arlington men's tennis team is set to kick off their fall season at the ITA All-American Championships at the University of Tulsa on Saturday. Pre-qualifying draws start on Saturday with the main draw finals set for Oct. 8.
The pre-qualifying singles rounds feature 256 players and will take place Saturday and Sunday. Qualifying rounds, which feature 128 players, will take place from Monday and Tuesday. Main draw play will start on Oct. 4 with 64 players.
In singles action on Saturday,
Dante Teramo will take on Belmont's Ian Cruz at 11:30 a.m.
Solano Caffarena, who won a round of pre-qualifying against South Carolina's Carter Morgan last year, will compete in his third straight event with a round of 256 matchup against Wichita State's Alejandro Jacome on Saturday at 1:45 p.m. Following that,
Joan Torres Espinosa will face Tulane's Luc Hoeijmans at 2:30 p.m.
