ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington women's tennis team (0-1) is scheduled to host Cowley (10 a.m.) and Dallas Baptist (2 p.m.) for their home opener at the UTA Tennis Center on Friday, Feb. 1.
The Mavericks are coming off being swept 4-0 by SMU in their season opener on Thursday, Jan. 30.
SCOUTING COWLEY
Cowley is 1-0 on the young season with their victory coming 5-2 over Washburn University. Against Washburn, Cowley dropped all three doubles matches before winning five of six singles matches. This will be the first time the two programs meet.
SCOUTING DBU
This will be the Mustangs first match of the spring 2025 season. This will be the seventh time the two programs have met with UTA holding a perfect 6-0 record. All six matches have come at the UTA Tennis Center with the first ever meeting coming back in February of 2014.
