ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington baseball will kick off the season with its 15^th annual First Pitch Banquet on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 5 p.m. CT at the UTA Bluebonnet Ballroom at the E.H. Hereford University Center on the UTA campus.
 
"Please join us for a celebration of UTA baseball," head coach Mike Trapasso said of the event. "Meet the players and coaches and support the start of a terrific season!"

Doors open at 5 p.m. for the reception, followed by a dinner, and a lucky-number drawing for a chance to win some amazing prizes and baseball memorabilia.

The season is set to begin on Friday, Feb. 13, as the Mavs open a three-game set on the road at Northwestern State. UTA then takes on cross-town rival TCU at Globe Life Field as part of the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series on Feb. 17. The home opener at Clay Gould Ball Park is slated for Friday, Feb. 20, when the Mavericks host Lamar.
