Competed in track and field at Tarleton State...At Olney High School, earned four letters in track and field, three letters in football, two letters in baseball, four letters in powerlifting, four letters in tennis and four letters in band...Earned all-state honors as a senior in the shot put in high school and was all-region three times...Named all-state offensive lineman as a senior in football...Earned all-region honorable mention status twice in powerlifting...Top throws include 58-0 feet in shot put, 172-0 feet in discus and 160-0 feet in the hammer toss.
