Competed in just two events on the year while recovering from injury.

Set a school-record in the pole vault with a mark of 5.35 meters at the SLC Championships.

2012
Established a new school record in the pole vault, clearing 5.40 meters at UTA[apos]s Bobby Lane Invitational.
Matched his school mark of 5.40m in his next meet, the Texas Relays, to place fifth at the prestigious event.
Broke a 34-year-old meet record at the Leon Johnson Northwestern State Invitational with a vault of 5.35 meters.
Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminaries, where he posted a mark of 5.25 meters.
Suffered an injury to his hand and missed several weeks of training in the latter stages of the season.
2011
Competed in the NCAA Outdoor Championships and cleared a season-high mark of 5.25 meters.
Came in first in pole vault with a height of 5.20m at the Drake Relays.
Was the runner up at the SLC Outdoor Championships with a pole vault height of 5.05 meters.
Placed first in pole vault with a height of 5.01 meters and the Northwestern State Invitational.
Tied for third at the Michael Johnson Classic after clearing 5.05 meters.

Recorded a mark of 17-4.5 unattached to a university.
Placed second at the 2008 USATF Junior Olympics national meet.
