As a freshman (2004-05): Started the final four games of the season... scored a season-high 23 points in the regular season finale win over Nicholls State (78-66)... Ppayed in 24 games... averaged 3.6 rebounds per game the last six games of the season.
Prior to UTA: Guidry averaged 14.6 points, 10.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game as a senior... named second-team all-region by the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC)... ranks fourth on the school[apos]s single-season rebounding list, current NBA standout Rashard Lewis of the seattle Supersonics holds the top three spots... ranked among the top 50 seniors by Texas Basketball Review (50), Texas Roundball Mazagine (39), Wes Grandstaff[apos]s HoopScoop Magazine (20) and was ranked nationally by Hoopscooponline.com (261)... prior to senior year, was named by Athlon Sports Top 300 High Schools.. was also listed No. 147 in the country by Prep Stars.com... helped Elsik High School to a 29-6 record as a junior averaging 12.5 points and 8.0 rebounds... competing with the Westside All-Stars, he was one of seven Texas prep players named to the Adidas Big Time AAU All-Tournament Team in Las Vegas, Nev.
