Voted District 9-4A MVP and a 4A All-State selection as a senior after averaging 17 points, 13 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2.6 steals per game … also averaged 8 defensive boards a game and shot 67 percent from the floor … named Fort Worth Star-Telegram Defensive Player of the Year for 2018-19 … set career highs as a senior in points (34), blocks (10) and rebounds (22) and recorded a triple-double in a game … entered his senior season ranked as the 41st-best player in the state by Texas Hoops … averaged 15.6 points per game and connected at a 49-percent clip from the floor as a junior, leading Kennedale to the second round of the state playoffs … as a sophomore he was named the District MVP, All-Region First Team and Team Co-MVP … that same year he also set the school record for offensive rebounds in a game with 12 against Burkburnett.
