Biography
CAREER OVERVIEW
Transferred to UTA in advance of the 2023-24 season following his sophomore year at McLennan Community College.
AS A SOPHOMORE AT McLENNAN (2022-23)
Posted a 75.1 scoring average over 12 rounds … registered a round in the 60s with a 2-under 69 in the second round of the Bentwater Intercollegiate (Feb. 12) … only posted one round in the 80s all season … best 54-hole performance came at the Dallas Baptist Fall Classicl (Oct. 23-24) where he tied for 15th with a +4, 214 total (71-70-73) … Score was used in six out of six possible rounds … Competed in two events as an individual and two events as a part of the team lineup.
AS A SOPHOMORE AT McLENNAN (2022-23)
Recorded a stalwart 70.5 scoring average over 24 rounds … registered four rounds in the 60s … only posted one round in the 80s all season … best 36-hole performance came at the Thunderbird Invitational (Feb. 24-25) where he tied for 6th with a 138 total (69-69) … helped spearhead McLennan to two victories as the Highlanders qualified for their 20th-consecutive NJCAA Tournament and a #8 final national ranking.
AS A FRESHMAN AT McLENNAN (2021-22)
His best 54-hole showing came at the TankLogix Collegiate (Mar. 15-16) by carding a 209 (72-66-72) to finish in 7th place … received academic all-district honors from the College Sports Communicators (CSC; formerly the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA)).
HIGH SCHOOL
Dominated the Southern Texas Junior Professional Golf Association (STJPGA), racking up an incredible 14 wins in 31 starts … was named the STPGA Player of the Year … awarded First Team All-State recognition while at Vandegrift HS in Austin, where he graduated from in 2021.
