Named second team all-Southland Conference...Named the league Hitter of the Week after hitting .333 in the Crimson Classic, also named to the all-tournament team in the two-day affair...Hit .311 as the lead off batter (second best on the team)...Was second on the squad with a .403 on-base percentage and a .998 fielding percentage at first base...Led the squad in hits (57), runs scored (42), doubles (14) and base on balls (28)...Tied for the team lead with 78 total bases...Made one appearance in the circle, picking up a save after tossing 3.0 innings and being touched for only two hits...Was the lone Lady Maverick to appear in all 58 games, 57 in the starting lineup...Collected at least two hits in 18 games...Hit first collegiate home run at Northwestern State on March 23.

A former three-time All-District performer at South Grand Prairie High School, where she graduated in 2002...Recognized as her team[apos]s MVP as a junior and senior....Earned player of the year honors in 2002.
