2020 Indoor: Helped the distance medley relay team to a third-place finish at the Sun Belt Conference Championships (10:22.48) ... ran a personal-best 3000m time of 8:33.37 at the Charlie Thomas Invitational ... saw action in four meets on the season.
2020 Outdoor: Season canceled due to coronavirus pandemic.

2018-19 SEASON
2018 Cross Country: Earned second-team All-Sun Belt Conference honors after placing 10th at the league meet (25:32.6) ... helped lead the Mavericks to the team title ... finished 77th at the NCAA South Central Regional with a 10k time of 34:01.2 ... competed in five meets on the year.
2019 Indoor: Was a member of the league-champion distance medley relay team (10:09.94) ... also participated in the mile and 5000 meters for the team champion Mavericks ... won the mile at the Southern Tier Collegiate Invite with a personal-best time of 4:21.75.
2019 Outdoor: Ran in four meets on the year, including the Texas Relays and Sun Belt Conference Championships.

BEFORE UTA
Attended Syracuse for one year ... participated in one season of indoor track, but redshirted the cross country and outdoor track campaigns ... won the Under-20 New Zealand national championship in both the 3000m and 5000m in 2017 ... ran a personal-best 3200-meter time of 9:09.27 at the prestigious Arcadia Invitational in Arcadia, Calif., in 2017 ... earned his first national medals with bronze finishes in the 3000m at the New Zealand Track & Field Championships and the New Zealand Cross Country Championships.

Oldest brother, Craig, is the UTA record holder in the 5000 meters, won six individual conference championships in distance events, and a second-team All-American ... is the fourth Lautenslager to run at a Division I school, joining brother Craig (UTA), brother Jeff (Boise State) and father Greg (Texas Tech) ... father is the coach and director of the National Academy of Distance Running in New Zealand and was a four-time competitor at the U.S. Olympic Trials ... mother, the former Debra Elsmore, won New Zealand titles in the 5000 meters and 10,000 meters and represented her country in five World Cross Country Championships and the 1987 Commonwealth Games ... is a broadcasting major ... member of Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll.
