Valkova ended her collegiate career with the Lady Mavs and put together a career season in the process. She appeared in all 33 of UTA’s games, starting in 31, and was the fourth leading scorer on the team with an average of 9.1 points per game. Valkova’s field goal percentage of .551 was the highest on the team. Her 49 blocks were first in the WAC and 49th in the NCAA while her 1.48 blocks per game was also tops in the conference while 75th best in the country. Her 172 rebounds and 5.2 average per game were second most for the Lady Mavs. Valkova also finished with 32 assists, fifth most on the team. Prior to spending one season coming off the bench for UTEP, Valkova produced a prolific career at NJCAA Division I Weatherford College, where she started 76 of 80 career games while totaling 903 points, 608 rebounds and 143 blocks. She shot 368-of-748 (.492) from the field and 166-of-230 (.722) from the foul line with 22 career double-doubles.
