Breanna Hamilton

Breanna Hamilton joined the UTA sports medicine staff in August, 2017 after serving the previous three years in a similar capacity at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene. She is the primary athletic trainer for the women's basketball team and will administer the department's drug testing program.

Hamilton graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Kansas State University in 2014. She served all four years as a student trainer at KSU earned a number of honors and scholarships from the Kansas Athletic Trainers' Society. While working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Hardin Simmons, she earned Master of Education in Kinesiology, Sport and Recreation in 2016 before serving the athletic department in a full time capacity the following year.

She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, the Southwest Athletic Trainers' Association and the Texas State Athletic Trainers' Association. During her career, Hamilton has worked events such as NCAA Baseball Regionals, the Big 12 Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships and Special Olympics.
