Diaz comes to UTA from Florida Atlantic University where she spent two seasons with the Owls... earned the top-8 outstanding athletes award... was a qualifier for the regional cross country meet... was a top-15 runner-up in the University of Miami Meet.

Born June 6, 1989... is the daughter of Hector and Nelly Diaz... has one sister... majoring in finance.
